Apple & Samsung
Apple’s huge success in the mobile field has benefitted Samsung in various ways. On the one hand, it gave Samsung a step-by-step guide on how to improve its own devices, as revealed by an internal document used as evidence in a recent patent trial. On the other hand, it also made Apple the South Korea-based company’s biggest parts customer.

However, the ongoing patent fights between the two companies seemingly have adverse impact. It’s reported that Apple is diverting its component contracts away from Samsung step by step. Most recently, Apple is said to have moved from Samsung to Amperex Technology and Tianjin Lishen Battery for its iPad and MacBook batteries. Now, according to a new report, Apple is about to take a great action.
