HTC One Will htc, HTC 2013, htc oneBe HTC’s Only “One” Device in 2013

HTC One to Be HTC’s Only “One” Device in 2013

HTC One was announced as that company’s newest flagship smartphone last week. Around this time last year though, the Taiwanese company released an entire range of One devices – the One X, One S, and One V. Those have been joined in the meantime by a few others, such as the One X+, One SV or One VX. In 2012, the idea seemed to be that One would be HTC’s Galaxy, so to speak.
However, year of 2013, things will be different. According to Phil Roberson, the head of HTC for the UK and Ireland, says, “We just said, let’s just create one flagship device for this year,” which means the HTC One will be the only “One”, and it will be the only smartphone under the One branding in 2013.
So no more “range” – if you’re looking for a high-end HTC Android smartphone, the One is the only “One”. The strategy would be similar to what Apple doing as the company only releases a singular flagship model a year.
When it launched its One series last year, HTC promised to focus on releasing less devices – we were led to believe that those three would be the only ones. And they definitely weren’t, being followed on the market by an onslaught of others. So will things really be different this year? We’ll have to wait and see, and will keep you updated.

Here’s a quick view of the Galaxy Note 8.0 features list.
  • Display: 8″ 16M-color TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels (189ppi)

  • Misc: Nature UX, Extremely rich video/audio codec support, built-in accelerometer, multi-touch input, proximity sensor, gyroscope sensor, Smart stay and Smart rotation eye-tracking, Reading mode
Sounds familiar, doesn’t it? Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is little more than an upsized Galaxy Note II. Or is that a downsized Galaxy Note 10.1? The only differences are the new S-Pen software features that come with Android 4.1.2 and the latest TouchWiz, but those have already been made to the Note 8.0 predecessors. The S Pen for the Note 8.0 can control the physical menu/back buttons on the device with Wacom technology. Basically, you can use the S Pen to touch the capacitive buttons, which once only responded to a finger’s touch.
Samsung has yet to share pricing and availability for the Note 8.0, but from the sounds of its announcement, there will be both a Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G model. The latter will feature Samsung’s phone app thanks to the HSPA+21 (no LTE) on-board. Right, you’ll be able to make a call on your 8-inch tablet.

Rumored iPad Mini II Rear Shell Leaked Images

The Chinese Forum WeiPhone posting lots of photos of what rumored iPad mini II Rear shell. From the images, we can judge that Next-gen iPad Mini Rear Shell Surface is similar to that of the current iPad Mini, when look at these photos from different views, we find it suggests a little thicker. Now we can’t get that if its obvious increased thickness is a smart design change needed to add a Retina display and accompanying battery improvements to the device or if it is simply a bit of an optical illusion due to the fact that the edges of the shell have not yet been chamfered as they are in the final product.
The photos also show a bright blue Apple logo and “iPad” text on the rear shell, but it is likely that this is simply part of the process used to create the mirrored logo and text as seen on the current product.

Rumor: iPad Mini Display Production Increased and Next-gen Display Already in Development

iPad mini
Rumors from new supply chain revealed the latest information on the iPad mini display and the possible display of the next-gen iPad mini. News from China showed AU Optronics, Apple’s supplier, has not only boosted production of current generation iPad mini displays, but has begun production on a display for the next-gen iPad mini.
The report comes from DigiTimes, and says that “yield issues throughout the second half of 2012” meant that AU Optronics couldn’t produce enough iPad mini displays, leading to fewer shipments than Apple had originally estimated for the tablet. But, production has increased; AUO has increased its iPad mini display yield to 1 million panels per month.
The report also mentions that AUO is “working on panels for Apple’s next-generation iPad mini”, which is expected to launch later this year with a Retina display. But no details about the iPad mini 2 display were supplied in the report.

HTC One Specs Details

HTC One turned out to be about the HTC new flagship just as we expected. HTC One features a 4.7-inch Super LCD 3 display of 1080p resolution (that's 469ppi). It should be able to match the image quality of the Butterfly's unit.
The One is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset (the same ticking inside the LG Optimus G Pro) utilizing a quad-core 1.7GHz Krait 300 processor, Adreno 320 graphics and 2GB of RAM.
The camera of the HTC One sports a 4MP sensor and 1080p@30fps video recording (with HDR). The sensor has what HTC calls Ultrapixels, which are much larger than the regular smartphone pixels and promise vastly improved per-pixel quality and low-light performance. The smartphone also offers gyroscope-based Optical image stabilization which should come in handy for video recording.
The HTC One will have 32GB or 64 GB of non-expandable storage and rich connectivity settings including LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4 and GPS with GLONASS.
HTC One will launch running on Android 4.1.2 but the 4.2.2 update is already in the works.
The new flagship is made out of aluminum and is about 9.3 mm thick. It has stereo speakers at the front with impressive 93db loudness and a 2300 mAh non-removable battery. Also, its Power/Lock key on top is transparent and doubles as an IR port to control home equipment.
HTC One will be available in black, red and silver colors and will launch in March this year. HTC has already made deals with 185 carriers worldwide including USA's AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint; all major UK carriers and many more. There is still no info on its retail price, though.

HTC One Is Coming Soon

Can’t wait to see what HTC is going to release today? It’s only a couple of hours away! From the limited information we get from HTC’s official site, it is very likely that the newly flagship of HTC will be named HTC One (formerly was named HTC M7). When we visit HTC’s official site, a countdown counter with black background comes to our eyes. Each time when the seconds comes to 1, the background will flash and a blurry cell phone appears. This is the code we get from HTC, which indicates that the phone will be named “HTC One”.

From the flash we see in HTC’s official site, The battery door looks the same as what we reported before, plastic, inherited from the former flagship, HTC Butterfly.

Samsung Galaxy S IV Rumored to Be Introduced March 14th in New York City

Eldar Murtazin, whose information has sometimes proved to be quite accurate, has tweeted some information about the upcoming introduction of the eagerly awaited Samsung Galaxy S IV. According to Murtazin, the actual unveiling of the Android flagship will take place on March 14th at an event in New York City. With the impressive sales rung up by the Samsung Galaxy S III, and the model's ability to stand up to the Apple iPhone 5, it makes sense that the sequel to one of the most wildly used phones in the world would have so many people watching its every move.
Earlier speculation had the Samsung Galaxy S IV being introduced on March 15th and then launching in Europe during the next month. The device would then rollout to the Americas, Australia and Africa in May and June. That gap in time between the introduction and the eventual U.S. launch would equal what was seen for the Samsung Galaxy S II and the Samsung Galaxy S III. Samsung expects to see sales of the new phone reach 100 million units.

Google X Phone Rumored to Include Revolutionary New Features

Google is expected to unveil a new smartphone later this year that will be manufactured by Motorola. The device, which is known as the “X Phone” for the time being, is said to feature a high-end rear camera, long battery life and a flexible display, and it is expected to be very durable. Hugh Bradlow, the chief technology officer of Australian wireless provider Telstra, reportedly told employees that the smartphone is going to be a “real breakthrough, a game changer that will put pressure on Samsung and Apple,” according to SmartHouse. Sources speaking to the site also revealed that the handset may include software that has never been seen before in a smartphone.
The X Phone is said to have been in development for a long time and will offer “software features and capabilities that are not available on a Samsung Galaxy smartphone or Apple iPhone.” The software will reportedly be very powerful and capable of pulling together Google services “like no other manufacturer has done in the past.”
Google is expected to announce the Motorola-built X Phone at its I/O Developer Conference in May.

Samsung Galaxy S IV More Details Leaked

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S IV smartphone for Verizon may have been detailed in newly discovered benchmark test results. The device carries the model number SCH-i545 and is similar to the model number SCH-i535, which is found on the carrier’s Galaxy S III smartphone. According to results from the Nenamark benchmark site, the Galaxy S IV will be equipped with a 1920 x 1080-pixel full-HD display, a 1.9GHz quad-core processor and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The specs match up to earlier rumors, however there are some discrepancies.
The benchmarks reveal that the device will include Adreno 320 graphics, which means that the processor could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU rather than Samsung’s new Exnyos 5 Octa. The company has previously turned to Qualcomm for processors in its U.S. Galaxy S III models and could very well do the same for the Galaxy S IV.
Samsung’s latest flagship device is rumored to include a 4.99-inch screen, 2GB of RAM, NFC, LTE connectivity, wireless charging capabilities, a microSD slot and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
The Galaxy S IV is expected to be announced on March 15th.

HTC M4 and G2 Specs Leaked after M7

At HTC’s year-end party, HTC CEO Peter Chou showed off HTC M7, which is expected to be announced at HTC’s press conference in New York City at Feb 19th. However, while all eyes on the full HD flagshio M7, two other handsets of its lineup surfaced. According to Unwired View, an anonymous source known for leaking early images and information on upcoming devices, HTC is reportedly preparing two additional smartphones, code-named M4 and G2, which will debut later this year.
HTC M4 leaked specs
The M4 is said to be a high-end device that is considered “one step below the M7,” just as the One S was a very capable smartphone, but not quite as impressive as the One X. The device is expected to be equipped with a 4.3-inch 720p display, 1.2 dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM, LTE connectivity, 16GB of internal storage, a 13-megapixel rear camera and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
HTC G2 leaked specs
The G2, which has no relation to HTC’s earlier G2 smartphone, is said to be an entry-level device that will feature a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 1GHz single-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The M4 and G2 are expected to launch this spring following the M7′s release date.

Samsung’s GT-B9150 Smartphone Leaked Specs

Samsung’s GT-B9150 Smartphone Specs Leaked

Is the GT-B9150 or the Samsung Galaxy S IV?
Many Samsung smartphones are expected to launch in the first quarter of 2013. Now comes to the first one, the GT-B9150. According to the leak, this device will have a 1080p display and a 1.7GHz A15-based Exynos 5 5250 Dual processor under the hood, which is the same piece of silicon that we’ve seen inside the Google Nexus 10. And while this certainly could be the Samsung Galaxy S IV or the Samsung GALAXY Note III, the “GT-B” prefix of the model number suggests something different.
The Samsung GT-B9150 has been given the code name of HomeSync and although it has yet to be introduced by Samsung, there already is a buzz around the handset with some speculation that the model is going to deliver something cool at MWC. With the FHD display expected on the device, a 5 inch screen would deliver a 441ppi pixel density and that dovetails with the rumored specs for the Samsung Galaxy S IV.
But don’t get too excited. Because it’s uncertain what the GT-B9150 is. As the Mobile World Congress 2013 gets closer, the truth should surface. Hope Samsung will bring us more surprise.
